希臘人民在5日公投中向國際債權方的紓困條件說「不」，這對於拿公投做政治豪賭的總理齊普拉斯是場勝利，他希望藉此民意後盾與債權方重啟談判，爭取更有利希臘的紓困方案，但這次公投結果同時也把希臘帶進一個未知的水域，前途未卜。
從今年1月執政以來，齊普拉斯始終令人捉摸不定。有人認為他是一個策略高手，透過這次公投爭取談判時間和空間；但也有人以為，他壓根兒是個手足無措的政治新手，匆促舉行公投，可能把希臘推向被迫脫離歐元區的道路。
6成民意支持 幹掉政敵
執政不到半年，40歲的齊普拉斯在這次公投中，獲得超過60％的民意支持，還迫使他的政敵、主張接受紓困條件的保守派「新民主黨」領袖薩瑪拉斯，在公投結果出爐後辭去黨魁職務，可說是一石兩鳥。
希臘歷史學者迪若米認為，從學生時期便展現反抗權威的齊普拉斯，此刻堅持不再接受歐盟威脅，呼籲恢復希臘人的尊嚴，恰展現了希臘人當年拒絕馴服於鄂圖曼土耳其帝國，持續抵抗的民族性。
齊普拉斯號稱是希臘150年來最年輕總理，卻堅守傳統左派的理念。他以這次公投孤注一擲獲勝，也讓他在其他歐元區國家的疑歐派、反撙節政黨眼中，成了大英雄。
然而，眼前現實問題是，希臘仍面臨現金短缺的急迫問題，國際債權方的談判態度會有何改變，也還有待觀察，齊普拉斯這次的公投勝利，可能帶來的真正後果，仍在未定之天。
財長去職 助重啟談判
為了確保與國際債權方順利重啟談判，齊普拉斯6日不惜犧牲先前負責主談的希臘財長瓦魯法奇斯，此刻拔掉談判對手不想打交道的人，展現善意，或許是好的開端。齊、瓦兩人理念相合，原本被認為是最佳搭檔。
瓦魯法奇斯外型冷酷，作風直來直往，自稱是「古怪馬克思主義者」，擅長以尖酸言詞攻擊歐洲其他國家談判代表，例如在希臘與歐盟6月底談判破裂之際，指稱歐盟對希臘遂行「恐怖主義」，企圖逼迫希臘就範。
